When you donate to Goodwill, you’ve taken the opportunity to become a job creator and make a significant difference in the lives of individuals living in your community. After you drop off your shirts, shoes, blankets, electronics and other items, we sell them in one of our Goodwill stores. When someone buys your item, we use that money to fund job training and other services.

Your generosity improves the lives of East Texans. Help transform lives.
With your help, people learn skills, have hope, and find jobs.
Thank you for donating!

  • Shop Amazon Smile and donate.
  • Donate your car or truck.
  • Gifts of real property
  • Gifts of stock
  • IRA Rollover donations
  • Leave a gift to Goodwill Industries of East Texas in your will or estate.

Goodwill appreciates and thanks you for each donation.  However, we do need to refuse some items for being non-recyclable or containing hazardous materials.  Other times, the item must be refused because it costs more to transport, repair or refurbish than it can be sold for in our stores.  Our donation attendants are trained to know what we can and cannot accept, and will help guide you to other possibilities for donations we are unable to accept.

According to the EPA’s Office of Solid Waste, the average American throws away 68 pounds of clothing and textiles each year, resulting in nearly 36 billion pounds of used jeans, T-shirts and other apparel being dumped in landfills annually.
